I work with individual adults and children on a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, immigration/acculturation, divorce/co-parenting, relationship difficulties, family/parent/child issues, educational concerns, work/life balance, and adjustment challenges associated with special abilities (giftedness).

I have extensive training in the area of cultural diversity, and hold an MA in Cultural Anthropology from Cornell University in addition to an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. I am also trained in work with GLBTQ individuals and am credentialed as a Sexual Minorities Specialist. I welcome clients representing the entire spectrum of human experience, and especially those who find themselves to be exceptional or “outliers” in one or more areas of life.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I am a participating provider (out of network rate) with all major health insurance carriers and am happy to provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement. I am a preferred provider (in network rate) for Kaiser Permanente. I am an approved out-of-state Telehealth provider for the state of Florida, registration number TPMC3751.

My office is centrally located at the corner of Stewart and Third Avenue in downtown Seattle and has convenient access by bus and light rail (Westlake Station).  Street pay parking is available, but limited, on Virginia and on Third Avenue. The adjoining Securities Building Parking garage provides convenient (but rather costly) parking. Other nearby parking garages can be more reasonable.

On Holidays, Saturdays and evenings, the building is locked and buzz-in entry can be obtained via the call box at the Fourth Avenue entrance (1913 Fourth Avenue).
